If you're seeing the storm approaching the Florida Panhandle, you may
wonder where we are.
We are in Port St Joe, where we arrived today about noon, well before
the rain and winds started. We're tucked safely in (check out Port St
Joe Marina's website), tied up well, and watching the lines as the
tide rises. Since Saturday morning, we have traveled from Fairhope to
Pensacola to Ft Walton Beach to Panama City to today's destination.
It's been sunny and relatively warm, windy, cloudy, cold. You name
it. All the traveling has gone well, the engines have hummed (well,
roared), and all are well. Although all plans are somewhat fluid, our
intention is to stay here for the month of December, anticipating
Advent worship in one church (rather than a different one every week),
and warm weather at least part of the time.
