Hopefully, tonight is the night I will send picts. Let's see what will happen!
We have minimal Christmas decorations here on the Eschaton, given the space available for storage and for decorating. Just to let you know, we have a wreath on the front windows, a bow and a candy cane on the back upper rail, and a mini-mini tree plus the creche in the front windows. Each evening we light our Advent wreath candles, and of course, as of Christmas Eve, we added the Christ candle.
On Christmas Eve we attended the 6 pm Candlelight Service at the local UMC, and were able to walk home. We've never gotten home so early on a Christmas Eve!! Christmas Day we helped prepare meals to be taken to 525 persons in Gulf County. Later in the afternoon we joined about 30 other Loopers for Christmas dinner here at the marina, hosted by Harbor Hosts Ray and Patsy Whitney. Definitely different, but a good day.
We're still in Big Bend anxiety, but are making plans. The 'weather windows' are few and far between, so we will have to grab the best one and move on. It's also going to be a COOL ride ... but we're looking forward to a payoff of temps in the 70s when we get south of Tarpon Springs.
It's great to know there are several of you out there who follow our progress... get ready, we're about to move on. Check the map Jeff maintains to see where we've been and where we're going.
Shalom.

Also, hopefully, are picts of Harold the manatee (see previous blog), and some of the terrific sunsets we get from here at the marina.

Thank you for sharing the pics. The sunset is beautiful! So glad to hear you were surrounded by friends for Christmas and were able to attend a church on Christmas Eve! :)
